IN-PERSON PHYSIOTHERAPY & PILATES
Personalised movement. Expert care.
Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates designed around your body, your goals and your life.
From a boutique private studio in Inglewood, Perth.
Let's work it out, together.
FEELING STUCK?
Maybe you're dealing with an injury that just isn't settling. Maybe you're returning to exercise after time away. Or perhaps you simply don't feel confident about what your body needs.
That's where personalised physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates can help.
We'll look at the bigger picture, understand what matters to you and create a plan that helps you move forward with confidence.
PAIN & INJURY
Understand what's going on and work towards getting back to the things you love.
STRENGTH & CONFIDENCE
Feel stronger, more capable and confident in your everyday life.
RETURN TO EXERCISE
Get back into movement safely and progressively, whatever your starting point.
Physiotherapy that looks at the whole picture.
HOW I CAN HELP
My approach combines physiotherapy, clinical exercise and Pilates to help you understand your body and make meaningful progress, rather than simply treating the symptoms.
PAIN & INJURY
For aches, pains and injuries affecting your muscles, joints and movement.
From headaches, spinal and pelvic pain to nerve-related arm and leg pain, sports injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation, we'll work out what's going on and what you need to move forward.
CLINICAL PILATES
Individualised Pilates-based exercise to build strength, mobility, control and confidence.
Use the reformer, mat and props to build your capacity, support your rehabilitation and feel stronger in your body. From pregnancy and postnatal care to ACL rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates can be adapted to support your body through a wide range of injuries, conditions and goals.
REHABILITATION & RETURN TO ACTIVITY
Progressive, personalised rehabilitation tailored to your injury, stage of recovery and goals.
We'll build your capacity gradually, making sure you're challenging yourself appropriately, not doing too much, too soon or holding yourself back unnecessarily.
STRENGTH, FITNESS & SPORT
Build strength, improve your fitness and become more capable in the activities you enjoy.
Whether you want to improve your squat, build strength at the gym, improve your hip mobility for yoga or return to a high-level sport, we'll create a progressive plan around your goals.
HOW IT WORKS
A plan built around you.
No two bodies, or people, are the same.
Your assessment, exercise programme and progression should reflect that.
Sarah combines her experience as a Sports Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor to understand how you move, what you're trying to achieve and what's getting in your way.
From your first appointment onwards, we work together to create a plan that makes sense for you.
A space to focus on you.
YOUR PRIVATE STUDIO
Your appointments take place in my private studio in Inglewood, Perth. A calm, welcoming space where we can focus entirely on you.
Whether you're recovering from an injury, building strength or getting back to exercise, you'll have the time and attention to ask questions, understand your body and work towards your goals.

I was struggling with shoulder pain and couldn’t sleep or work properly. After seeing Sarah, she suggested some exercises that made a big difference. With regular practice, my pain has gone and I’m still doing some of the exercises. I’m very grateful for her support and professional care. Highly recommended.👍👍👍

Sarah is amazing and helped with my rehabilitation after breaking my leg. Sarah is down to earth and makes you feel incredibly comfortable during vulnerable times. The exercise goals were also achievable! Highly recommended seeing Sarah or signing up for FIITLATES!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sarah from Fiitlates has introduced me to muscles I never knew I had. She’s a very knowledgeable physio/instructor. Sessions with Sarah have worked my abs so much that laughing hurts for the next two days. 11/10 would recommend!

Wear comfortable clothing that allows me to see the area we're assessing or treating.
For example, shorts can be helpful for lower-limb or knee assessments, while a singlet or top that allows access to the shoulder can be useful for upper-body concerns.
You don't need to buy anything special — just wear something you're comfortable moving in.

We'll start by talking about what's brought you in, your history, your lifestyle and what you'd like to achieve. I'll then assess how you're moving and identify the factors that may be contributing to your symptoms or limiting your progress.

Yes. Clinical Pilates is a core part of my practice and can be incorporated into your physiotherapy programme where appropriate.

Healthcare professionals, namely physiotherapists, use Pilates as an exercise tool to assess and treat injuries and/or create specific exercise plans with certain goals in mind. We use our knowledge of human anatomy and function to apply exercises to fit an individual. One exercise may not be the same for every person! My Pilates certifications took 2 years to complete, on top of undergraduate and post-graduate study in Physiotherapy, specifically. Depending on your health fund, there may also be a rebate. Class sizes are usually <6. This is what makes physio-based Pilates, “Clinical”.
Pilates, however, is not regulated in Australia nor internationally, unfortunately. This means that “qualifications” can be obtained over a matter of a couple of weekends to just 6 weeks. No prior knowledge is required and anyone can call themselves a “Pilates instructor”. Exercises are one-size-fits-all and class sizes can be 20+.

Physiotherapy is focused on assessing and treating your individual needs, including pain, injury, rehabilitation and return to functional activity through exercise. Clinical Pilates uses Pilates-based exercise to build strength, mobility, control and confidence.
The two can work beautifully together. If you're unsure which appointment is right for you, you can get in touch or book an initial physiotherapy appointment and we'll work out the best approach together.
-
Absolutely. Injury rehabilitation is a core part of physiotherapy and something I have extensive experience with.
Whether you're recovering from an injury, surgery or another setback, we'll assess where you're at and build a progressive plan around your stage of recovery, your goals and what you need to get back to doing.
-
Yes. I offer 1:1 telehealth physiotherapy appointments for people who can't attend the studio or would prefer online appointments.
Telehealth can be a useful option for assessment, advice, exercise prescription and rehabilitation support, depending on your individual needs. I have experience in a practice that was solely telehealth, which worked excellently.
