The physiotherapist behind FIITLATES

MEET SARAH

Hi! I'm Sarah, a Sports Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates instructor and the founder of FIITLATES.

I've spent more than 12 years helping people move better, feel stronger and understand their bodies. I believe movement should make your life better, not add more pressure to it.

FROM PATIENT TO PHYSIO

Pilates became personal.

When I was about 18, I began to experience back pain. Noticing it particularly when I stood still for a while, it became harder to work, relax or study.

Not long later, I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis (a spinal condition where one vertebra slips forward relative to the one below it).

Pilates became an important part of managing my back and building my strength. Over time, I've become pain-free, stronger and much more confident in what my body can do.

I've also had challenges with ankle and lower-limb stability after breaking my right ankle (and rupturing all the outside ligaments) at 12, followed by a ligamentous injury to my left ankle the following year.

Pilates has helped me build the stability, balance and control I've needed and it's a big part of why I believe the right movement can change how you feel in your body.

Movement isn't just about how your body looks. It's about what your body lets you do.

EXPERIENCE YOU CAN TRUST

12 years of helping people move better.

I’m a Sports Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates instructor and Barre instructor, with more than 12 years of experience. I help people to move better, recover from injury and build confidence in their bodies.

I completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014 and my Master of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy in 2024, building a career around clinical exercise, rehabilitation and helping people return to the things they love.

Over the years, I’ve worked with everyone from everyday clients recovering from injury to elite athletes and performers, including at the Royal Ballet and Manchester City in the UK.

But what I’ve learned is that good movement isn't about having the “perfect” body or following the hardest workout.

It’s about understanding what your body needs, how to challenge it safely and how to make movement something you can actually stick with.

That's what I bring to every FIITLATES session.

Expertise matters. As does making movement feel good enough to come back to.

WHY I CREATED FIITLATES

I’ve made expert movement easier to access.

After years of working with people one-on-one, I saw the same problem again and again.

People knew movement would help them feel better, but time, confidence, motivation and knowing what to do often got in the way.

I also saw how much confusing, generic and overly intense fitness advice was out there — and I knew there had to be a better way.

So I decided to make it easier.

FIITLATES brings expert, physiotherapist-led movement into your everyday life — without appointments, commuting or complicated workout plans.

Whether you have 5 minutes or 40, want to build strength, get your heart rate up or simply slow down, you can choose the movement that works for you that day.

Because I don't believe exercise should become another source of pressure.

It should make your life feel better.

Less pressure. More movement. A better way to feel good in your body.

SARAH BEYOND FIITLATES

A little more about me.

When I'm not teaching Pilates or working with clients, you'll usually find me back in Perth with my husband, Michael, and our puppy, Poppy. 🐶

I love getting outside for a walk, travelling whenever I can and getting lost in a good mystery or thriller.

I'm also a huge animal lover, like to bake cakes and am always partial to a good reality TV binge.

Make movement the easiest part of your day.
